GuitarFor the past 16 years, as a non-profit charitable organization, RBC Bluesfest has organized, financed, and delivered an award-winning educational program called “Blues in the Schools”.

It is thanks to the ongoing support from the community that the organization has been able to maintain this undertaking in such a successful manner.  By merely attending RBC Bluesfest, Ottawa music fans have been among our biggest supporters  In fact, there are many ways to support Blues in the Schools.  Once again this year, we will be hosting some of these fun ways to raise money for the program at The Fort, as well as at other areas on site.

Some highlights at The Fort include: the ever-popular Silent Auction; the guitar raffle featuring a Fender Stratocaster autographed by visiting RBC Bluesfest performers Germotte(comes with a display donated by Germotte Photo & Framing Studio); the 50/50 Raffle tent; and, the Bead sales tent. As well, look for the poster gallery in the lobby of the War Museum.

What better place to take a “Walk Down Memory Lane”, than in the Canadian War Museum.

Begin, or add to, your personal RBC Bluesfest Commemorative Poster collection!  Keep an eye out when you stroll through the front lobby of the Canadian War Museum – we’ll have a great display of posters for you.  And remember, proceeds go to Blues in the Schools!
